It's no lie that I have Wanderlust pretty much all year round these days. If money was no object (or I had lots of it) I would up and leave for all of these places in a heartbeat. There are obviously a lot of warm weather holidays I'd love to go on, but winter trips are just so magical. Especially when there is snow involved! Here is my list of the places currently at the top of my bucket list!

I've wanted to visit Amsterdam for ages, and last week my wish was granted! Jack booked for us to go there for my birthday in January! YAY! It is also during the light festival, so I can't wait to explore all of the canals, museums and must-see attractions! I heard there is a very good chance of snow too - To say I'm excited is an understatement!

You're gonna think I'm crazy when I say this, but up until a few years ago, New York never appealed to me. (I know?!?!) This year particularly, I've been absolutely dying to go. Whether that's a stroll around Central Park, shopping until dropping, visiting all the monuments or wandering over Brooklyn Bridge, I am so eager to do it! I really hope one day I will be able to go! A girl can dream..

Edinburgh has always spurred my interest and recently, I've had such an urge to want to visit. To be honest, I don't really have much of an excuse other than lack of funds, as it's less than an hour flight away! I'd love to explore the castle, find the hidden bars, eat at The Witchery and walk the cobbled streets.
4. Iceland
Iceland has to be up there with one the most unique locations I want to visit. I think the winter is the ideal time to go here, because imagine going during a hot Summer and entering a freezing cold climate.. Surely that would feel so weird? I'd love to see the Northern Lights or take a dip in the Blue Lagoon - it just looks so serene!
5. Bruges
Bruges looks so bloody adorable! The gothic-style buildings and canals look beautiful from all the pictures I've seen online, and on social media lately. I'd love to go here at Christmas time, especially to visit the traditional Christmas markets and admire all the buildings looking like gingerbread houses! (I'm not joking, google it!)
6. Copenhagen
I feel like this would be a very luxury city to go and visit, as I've heard the prices for things over there are fairly high! Either way, I'd love to see all the amazing sights, colourful buildings and experience the culture! I think winter would be such a pretty time to visit here as well.
