Rimmel London are a brand I have used since the beginning of time (..well, when I first started experimenting with makeup!) My favourite Kate Moss 107 Lipstick is never too far away; or if I'm in need of any new cosmetics, I know I will always find something that is great quality without breaking the bank. So, when their recent press launch for their new Scandaleyes Reloaded range landed at my door the other day (in a very autumnal package may I add) to say I was excited was a huge understatement! Here I am today to tell you all about the products!
Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara in Black & Extreme Black* | Here | £4.99

Firstly, can we just talk about how pleasing the packaging is? Is it just me or does this scream Halloween to you? Sorry, I am obsessed. I love that there are 2 shades to this mascara - black and extreme black. I've been wearing the Scandaleyes Reloaded in Black* (left) to work, and the Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara in Extreme Black* (right) for bigger occasions and more intense looking lashes.
Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara has a new & unique patent-pending formula, which is designed to give your lashes up to 11x more volume. This is something that really appeals to me, as I'm sure my lashes have lost their 'oomph' over the years! Another great feature about this product is that it stays on during the most active of circumstances. It is sweat-proof, smudge-proof and wears for up to 24 hours without budging. Better still, ScandalEyes Reloaded is designed to be washed off with ease - with as little as warm water! I have certainly kissed goodbye to the panda eyes since using this, I don't even worry about getting them anymore! Removing my mascara is now some kind of dream, as I don't even need to as little as tug at my lashes to get this off. Can I get a Hallelujah up in here?!
The brush has also had a revamp, which is now tapered; it's the perfect size and helps you coat every lash to build intense volume, all without clumping in the process. This is a very buildable mascara which is easy to work with for whatever look you are trying to achieve. However, just a gentle reminder that this a volume based mascara, so if length is something you are after (unless you have lashes of a goddess of course) then maybe a different Rimmel mascara may be a better fit for you. Either way, I love it!
ScandalEyes Felt-tip Liners* | Here | £5.49
Moving on to eyeliners. Rimmel have literally got these liners spot on! I know felt-tip liners are very hit and miss with some people - me being one of them. The reason I am so fussy is because I just tend to suck at general at applying it. This however, has totally changed my game! They are so easy to apply - even for the most inexperienced of beginners! If you're anything like me and have sporadically watery eyes, these liners are guaranteed to be smudge-proof, tear-proof and humidity proof. I mean, could you ask for more?!
The first eyeliner I tried was the Rimmel Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner*, as I wanted to see if I'd got any better at using smaller nib eyeliners. Being a very clumsy person (with the shakiest hands in the world) I thought this would just look like a five year old attacked my face with a Sharpie. This actually pleasantly surprised me at how easy it was to use, even for the most precise of lines. The colour pay off is also amazing! I was surprised at how black it was after my first application; I didn't even need to go over what I had just done for a more intense colour!
I then tried the Rimmel Scandaleyes Thick & Thin Eyeliner*. This is definitely my favourite of the two - it's SO versatile! It has a 3D slanted nib which can create different thicknesses of eyeliner, depending on how you hold it. I think this could quite possibly be one of the easiest liners I've used to do winged liner with - my hand just seemed to flow without any problems or mistakes along the way! I can confirm they really are tear-proof, waterproof and everything else that could possibly make your eyeliner come off. This is slightly harder to remove than the mascara, but totally worth it for looking on fleek all day long!
Once again, Rimmel have not disappointed me and I definitely recommend you pick these products up to try them for yourselves!
